Dave was a farmer, and he lived on a farm in the countryside. He was born and raised there, and he loved the farm and the work that he did.

But then the children said, "Dave, we heard that you are going to retire next year. Is that true?"

Dave was taken aback. "Why would you say that?" he asked.

Dave smiled and said, "You know, I've been thinking about this a lot. I'm actually going to retire next year. It's time for me to move on and do some other things I've been wanting to do."
